Oxygen

Oxygen: Intelligence in Practice is the name of the RACGP’s new quality improvement program, underpinned by the aggregation of certain general practice clinical data. The benefits of Oxygen include enhancing the use of general practice information, held at the practice level, for: education (e.g. a GP can map their learning needs to their patient population needs), clinical improvement (better able to target at risk patient groups), business improvement (better able to target patients for recall e.g. pap smears overdue), primary care planning, and ethically approved research, resulting in better health outcomes for Australians and greater efficiency and profitability for General Practitioners.
